As a new collector, I want to know approximate values but don’t want to be misled. Are apps good for this?
For beginners, apps are excellent for learning and getting ballpark values. I started with a free coin identifier app and it gave me realistic price ranges based on condition. It taught me what to look for and when to consult price guides. While I don’t rely on it for final selling prices of expensive coins, it’s perfect for building knowledge and deciding what to keep or sell.
